For eight years now we have worked to throw an amazing Christmas party for all of Hinds County Foster Children.  This started as a response to a need.  Hinds County was the only county not hosting a Foster Children Christmas party, due to it being one of the 3 largest counties in Mississippi, year after year.  The first few years of hosting this party the children totaled well over 500.  Thankfully the number is down to around 200, but this is still 200 children we need and want to bless with a Christmas experience.  

We want to say “We see you and you are valued.”  We want these children to experience the joy of Christmas and we want to take an opportunity to show and tell them about the love of Christ. 

On the evening of the Christmas Party - children will enjoy a fun-filled night full of games, Christmas activities, treats, and more.  Volunteers will get multiple opportunities to get to know these kids, to display the love of Christ, and to help give them a great Christmas experience.    

This year we have the lofty goal to gift every Hinds County Foster Care child a pair of Vans sneakers. We are partnering with Swell-O-Phonic, a local retail shop, to gift over 200 Hinds County Foster children an incredible pair of sneakers this year.
