Leading a Group: Getting Started

Getting started – There are lots of good ways to get started. Here are some good tips:

o   Make people feel welcome

o   Facilitate conversation and engage everyone there

o   Pray together!

o   Set up a Group Text

o   Agree on a time and place to meet that works for everyone

o   Spend several weeks getting to know each other. Ice breakers, games, dinners, casual conversations, etc…

o   Do something fun during the first month or so.

o   When you feel the group is ready, begin using the Sermon Discussion Guides.

o   Enjoy your group!
