Serve Local

Fondren Church partners with several local ministries. We want to be a part of the work God is doing in the city of Jackson. We want to be in the city and for the city. Whether it’s Groups partnering with ministries, church-wide Serve Days, or our annual Hinds County Foster Care Christmas Party, we have a place for you to practice neighboring well by serving in the community.

Our Local Ministry Partners…

CENTER FOR PREGNANCY CHOICES

CPC Metro is a nonprofit medical clinic that is here to listen, encourage, and equip those facing pregnancy decisions. Rather than addressing access to abortion, we are here to address the demand for abortion and the reasons women consider abortion. We seek to build a community where abortion is unthinkable and women find the help and hope they need to choose life. No matter what decision a woman makes – abortion, adoption, parenting, we show her that her life has value, and we seek to show her the love of Christ.

FONDREN RENAISSANCE FOUNDATION

FRF's mission is preserving, revitalizing, and empowering people, organizations and neighborhoods for economic growth, stability and quality of life in Fondren. As they focus on our neighborhood, we are excited to partner with them on multiple ways to love on our local community.

FOSTER CARE

The past five years, Fondren Church has hosted a Christmas party for foster families in Hinds County. There are approximately 300 kids in the foster system in Hinds County, and this event is always a huge deal for these families.

JACKSON LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION

Jackson Leadership Foundation is a Christ-centered 501c3 seeking the spiritual, social, and economic transformation through the empowerment of leaders, development of ministries, and networking of volunteers and donors.

JOHN & VERA MAE PERKINS FOUNDATION

The JVMPF for Justice, Reconciliation & Community Development is a non-profit organization that teaches and promotes the principles of Christian Community development and racial reconciliation. They believe in a philosophy of community development that wasn’t developed in a classroom, nor formulated by those foreign to the poor community. Our Biblical principles are practical and evolved from years of living and working among families living in our target area.

RED DOOR JACKSON

MS AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Mississippians Against Human Trafficking has been formed to facilitate collaboration with regional task forces, law enforcement, victim service providers, state agencies, schools, churches, and medical professionals. We also want to engage individuals who work with victims or potential victims, who are actively engaged in the fight against trafficking, or who are interested in learning how to prevent this crime and protect victims.

SOCIETY OF SAINT ANDREW

The Society of St. Andrew brings people together to harvest and share healthy food, reduce food waste, and build caring communities by offering nourishment to hungry neighbors.

Sunnybrook provides support to foster parents and children, while also preparing older youth to succeed in life by developing independence through education, job training, self-discipline, and a strong Christian foundation.
